Drink Driving
Some young drivers are still getting behind the wheel when they’ve been drinking.
This is putting themselves, their passengers and other people at greater risk of
having a collision.
Facts:
- Young men are the worst offenders
- It only takes a little alcohol to affect your driving
- If caught, you could face penalties of up to:
- Six months in prison
- A £5,000 fine
- Loss of your driving licence for 12 months
So, if you’re not convinced by the fact that over 1,000 people are killed or injured every year by drink-drivers (including the drivers themselves), then remember, when you’re caught, you will get a minimum one year ban, which could cost you your job, your home and your mates!
